Charles Williams

Charles Williams is a designer, typographer and illustrator working out of London. If he’s not fashioning beautiful portraits for GQ magazine out of angular and rounded shapes of texture, he will probably be working on the next type project for Nike or Adobe. Definitely one of my favourite designers at the moment.

A Bunch of Crock

A Bunch of Crock is an art exhibit about the absurdities of political campaigns and the unfortunate role of minorities. Using satire and good old-fashioned profanity, they recently came up with a poster series that is really good. All of the statements on the posters are inspired by a quote, fact or anecdote.

Happy New Year all.

I've just found this link off the Creative Review website which features minimalist packaging designs....

Also, check out the new Starbucks Logo- I think I prefer the one from 1992 but maybe it will grow on me?.....

Wonderful, contemporary illustrations. Maybe a possible style to explore for 'Byron in a Bottle' if you wish to pull away from the gothic, traditional routes.

Anthony Freda

Clients from Hell

Client: "We want something that has sort of an anarchist edge. Something crazy like Mickey Mouse with a swastika or something.”

Me: ”Are you sure your demographic is comfortable with swastikas?”

Client: ”Why wouldn’t they be?”
