Mondi has pointed us all to www.litracon.hu Litracon is a material that transmits light, yet is still applicable as building material. Worth looking at for related interior designs.

This looks cool but I'm having trouble working out a practical use for it.
i suppose you coul use it one or both sides around doors which exit the hallway. alot of houses have small dark hallways but by using this material, the light from other rooms could light the hall up (or other dark rooms). therefore creating an illusion of more space.
for industrial buildings and offices, maybe it could be used on the walls by the roof to let a bit of natural light through. it could save on lighting bills.
